1631溴型性能與用途：
白色或淡黃色固狀物，溶于乙醇和熱水，與陽離子、非離子、兩性表面活性劑有良好的配伍性，忌與陰離子表面活性劑同浴使用。不宜在120℃以上長時間加熱。1631溴型十六烷基三甲基溴化銨用作天然、合成橡膠、硅油的乳化劑；瀝青乳化劑和氯丁膠乳瀝青防水涂料的乳化劑；合成纖維、天然纖維和玻璃纖維的抗靜電劑、柔軟劑；滌綸真絲化助劑；皮革加脂劑；護發素的調理劑；相轉移催化劑；蠶室蠶具消毒劑；乳液起泡劑。
